Where to begin

I’ve spent the last 20 years in public accounting helping people make sense of taxes and plan for the future. Along the way, I’ve worked with family businesses, large companies, and the individuals behind them. In April 2025, I decided to start my own practice so I could focus on what matters most to me—supporting the individuals and small businesses I know and love right here on the Central Coast.

  • Prepare and file income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-Corporations and C-Corporations.  Set up tax estimates, tax education/strategy and ensure clients meet the various income tax deadlines throughout the year.

  • Tax planning and consulting for business and personal transactions. Planning around new/changing tax laws.  Quarterly estimated tax planning/adjustments. Year-end tax planning and periodic check in’s to review your tax situation.

  • Planning and tax guidance for specific real estate transactions including buying, selling, 1031 exchanges, tax guidance for short and long term rental properties and cash flow management. Annual income tax reporting, planning, strategy and education.

  • Cash flow planning, financial statement education (teach you how to better understand your financials and use them as a tool), business start up planning, succession/retirement planning, and bookkeeping support.  Periodic check in’s to review your financial situation.

Taxes are complicated—I make them simple.

After years at large CPA firms, I found my true passion working directly with small businesses and their owners. I see every tax situation as a puzzle to solve, with one goal: minimize your taxes, simplify the process, and give you the clarity to make smarter decisions in business and in life.

Credentials and Experience:

I earned my CPA license in 2008 after graduating from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in Business Administration, concentrating in Accounting. Over the past 20 years, I’ve worked in both audit and tax, including time at a Big Four firm, a large Bay Area practice, and 15 years with Glenn Burdette.

In April 2025, I started my own firm to bring that experience home—focused on helping individuals and small businesses here on the Central Coast.

I’m a Central Coast local with a love for both numbers and nature—and a good cup of coffee to start the day. When I’m not working with clients, you’ll usually find me doing something active: practicing yoga, mountain biking, hiking, or snowboarding. I’m married to my high school sweetheart Tyler, and together we’re raising two daughters in the close-knit town of Santa Margarita. Our family also spends a lot of time in South Lake Tahoe on Echo Summit, where the mountains feel like a second home.
